Directions, Parking: Schedule beginning at 8:00 a.m., other race times are estimates, Jesuit team races underlined: 8:00 Coaches and Community 5K run 8:30 Children’s 1K run 5th grade and younger boys & girls 9:00 Junior High girls 1.5miles (grades 6-8, unlimited entries) 9:20 Junior High boys 1.5miles (grades 6-8, unlimited entries) 9:40 Freshman Boys 2.0 miles (unlimited entries) 10:00 Frosh/Sophomore girls 2.0 miles (unlimited entries) 10:20 Sophomore boys 2.0 miles (top 7 runners) 10:40 Varsity Girls 5K (limited to top 10 runners) 11:10 Varsity Boys 5K (Limited to top 10 runners) 11:40 JV Girls 2.0 miles (11th & 12th grade non top 7 girls) 12:10 JV Boys 2.0 miles (11th & 12th grade non top 7 boys) Starting line and race-course: All races will be given a first and second call. If divisions are small, large and small school races might be combined. It is planned that the JV boys run will begin before 12:30 p.m. The clerk of course will check for bibs, jewelry or uniform violations (with adherence to National Federation and CIF guidelines) and assign starting boxes – two athletes per team in a box. The courses features wide groomed trails through the picturesque Yolo County vineyards of the Muller family property. Please make sure your runners stay out of the vineyards and on designated trails and official team areas at all times! No dogs should be on this property. Please make sure your respective parents are aware of these guidelines. Failure to heed this warning could result in a team’s disqualification as well as not being invited back in the future. The courses include a short stretch of asphalt near the starting line. T-shirts and concessions: Commemorative T-Shirts will be sold for $13.00 on race day. A limited number will be available for purchase. A concession stand with coffee, hot cocoa, sodas, bottled water, bagels, muffins, fruits, home baked goods, snack-bars and much more will be offered. Water, Restrooms and shade shelter: Due to the remote nature of this setting, your team should come prepared with plenty of water and liquid refreshment. You are encouraged to bring a shade shelter as limited shade and protection from the sun will be available. 12 portable restrooms will be on site. Awards: Unique team plaques will be awarded at the conclusion of the meet. Frosh/Soph boys and girls: medals 1-10, ribbons to 11-20, 1st & 2nd place team plaque. Varsity Boys and Girls: medals 1-15; ribbons to 16-30; 1st , 2nd and 3rd place team plaque. These awards will be given in both large and small school divisions if entries warrant. JV Boys and Girls: medals 1 – 5, ribbons 6-20.
